Kyalami Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
Jackie Stewart won the South African Grand Prix 1969 at Kyalami on 1 March 1969, starting from P4 on the grid. Graham Hill finished second for Lotus-Ford, with Denny Hulme completing the podium for McLaren-Ford.
