Shanghai International Circuit Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
Fernando Alonso won the Chinese Grand Prix 2005 at Shanghai International Circuit on 16 October 2005, starting from pole position. Kimi Räikkönen finished second for McLaren, with Ralf Schumacher completing the podium for Toyota. Kimi Räikkönen set the fastest lap with a time of 1:33.242.
