Rouen-Les-Essarts Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
Dan Gurney won the French Grand Prix 1962 at Rouen-Les-Essarts on 8 July 1962, starting from P6 on the grid. Tony Maggs finished second for Cooper-Climax, with Richie Ginther completing the podium for BRM.
