Watkins Glen Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
Jim Clark won the United States Grand Prix 1967 at Watkins Glen on 1 October 1967, starting from P2 on the grid. Graham Hill finished second for Lotus-Ford, with Denny Hulme completing the podium for Brabham-Repco.
