Nürburgring Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
Jacky Ickx won the German Grand Prix 1969 at Nürburgring on 3 August 1969, starting from pole position. Jackie Stewart finished second for Matra-Ford, with Bruce McLaren completing the podium for McLaren-Ford.
