Nürburgring Did You Know
The first F1 World Championship race was the 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone on 13 May 1950.
John Surtees won the German Grand Prix 1963 at Nürburgring on 4 August 1963, starting from P2 on the grid. Jim Clark finished second for Lotus-Climax, with Richie Ginther completing the podium for BRM.
