Nelson Piquet was a Brazilian Formula 1 driver who competed between 1978 and 1991. Piquet won 3 World Drivers' Championships (1981, 1983, 1987) across 207 races, taking 23 wins, 60 podiums and 24 pole positions for McLaren, Brabham-Alfa Romeo, Brabham and 3 other teams. Piquet is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the sport's history.
